Unit 1's Goals

Unit 1 is meant to bring your club together so each writing is ready to work with each other! The best way to make a community is to be prepared to help each other grow, meaning that sharing writing and collaborating on different pieces often results in some writers' strongest works!

Remember, the order of lessons in this unit is what's recommended, but mixing up lessons or outright skipping some is completely okay. We hope these lessons will improve young writers' excitement and skill to work with each other!
